We have many opportunities for you to help make the Ride to Recharge a success enjoyed by all. Please see the list of opportunities below.

Grant Park, Chicago, IL - Sunday, June 17

• Ride marshals - perform basic roadside bike repair for riders (experienced cyclists only)
• Course marshals - guide riders at key points along the route and cheer them on as well
• Rider registration - help riders check-in and get essential info
• Volunteer registration - help volunteers check-in and get essential info
• Festival assistance – serve lunch to riders, help us keep it green, and throw a great party
• Rest stop assistance - re-energize riders with food & drink and cheer them on to finish the Ride!
• Body work – provide muscle relief and relaxation to riders after their hard work!

Most volunteer shifts are from 10 am - 3:30 pm.

Volunteer opportunities for students - Grant Park, Sunday, June 17

• Cheer Squad - enthusiastic students to cheer riders at the start/finish line and key areas of the route
• Refuel Reenergize Squad - welcoming students to provide snacks and drinks for riders as they have a rest and then cheer them on to finish the ride!
• Hospitality Squad - caring students to serve lunch to riders and volunteers

Most volunteer shifts are from 10 am - 3:30 pm.

Indiana Dunes State Park, Chesterton, IN - Sat, June 16 & Sun, June 17

• Ride marshals - experienced riders to perform basic roadside bike repair (2-day commitment)
• Hospitality - help riders have fun with a BBQ picnic, pasta dinner, and bon fire (2 day commitment)
• Course marshals - cheer riders along while directing them along the route (6/16, 6/17, or both!)
• Rest stop assistance - re-energize riders with food & drink and cheer them on (6/16, 6/17, or both!)
